Day 3
In one
fast motion, Milan’s hand went from her chest, where she felt her unsteady
heartbeat race and thump, and then she rubbed the back of her neck. She rubbed
and then squeezed her shoulder, trying her best to relieve the throbbing,
painful tension before her convoluted head blew off. She laid back and stared
straight up at the ceiling. She blinked fast. “Now this is some straight up mess!”
